Community Rules & Guest Waiver

Please respect the following rules during your stay, both for your safety and the enjoyment of all residents and guests.

This page is here to help you understand what is expected during your visit, both for your own comfort and in consideration of the unique nature of our airpark community. Please take a moment to review the house and community guidelines listed below.

In the second section of this page, you will also find our Liability Waiver and Indemnification Agreement.

By booking your stay with us, you confirm your acceptance of this waiver. There is no need to sign it separately, your booking serves as acknowledgment and agreement to its terms.

For your safety and the comfort of all guests and residents, please respect the following rules during your stay.

• Please behave in a respectful and considerate manner toward other residents and guests at all times.
• Noise protection: Avoid loud music or noise, especially after 22:00. Keep outdoor conversations and activities at a considerate volume in the evening and early morning hours.
  

You may access the rented house and walk along the roads in the community.

• Do not enter any private residences, gardens, or hangars.
• Pets are only allowed with prior agreement. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  

• Chopping down or damaging trees or vegetation in the Müritz Air Park is strictly prohibited.
• Fishing at the canal is only allowed with a permit, which can be purchased in Rechlin.
  Fishing at the man-made lake is not allowed, especially not with hooks. These can damage the pond liner and pose a danger to children and residents.
  

• Swimming in the canal or the man-made lake is at your own risk.
• These are not officially supervised swimming areas, and there are no lifeguards on site. Please take extra care with children and non-swimmers.
  

• Müritz Air Park is an active airfield.
• If an aircraft approaches while you are walking or driving, pull off the road completely (even onto the grass) and give full right of way to the plane.
• Do not walk on the runway during the day. It is only accessible after 19:00, when flight operations have officially ended.
  

• The flushing system is delicate. Only human waste and toilet paper may be flushed.
• Any blockages or damage will be charged to the guest.
  

• The person who made the booking is considered the responsible guest and is liable for the behaviour of all group members.
• This person is expected to inform all guests about the rules and ensure they are followed at all times.
• Any damage to property must be reported transparently, documented, and if possible repaired after prior consultation.
• The responsible guest confirms they have liability insurance covering any damage caused in or around the property during their stay.
  
  

Zu Ihrer Sicherheit und zum Wohl aller Gäste und Anwohner bitten wir Sie, folgende Regeln während Ihres Aufenthalts zu beachten.

• Bitte verhalten Sie sich jederzeit respektvoll gegenüber anderen Bewohnern und Gästen.
• Lärmschutz: Verzichten Sie auf laute Musik oder Geräusche – insbesondere nach 22:00 Uhr. Auch Gespräche und Aktivitäten im Außenbereich bitten wir abends und morgens leise zu halten.
  

• Sie dürfen das gemietete Haus sowie die Straßen innerhalb der Siedlung betreten.
• Bitte betreten Sie keine privaten Grundstücke, Gärten oder Hangars.
• Haustiere sind nur nach vorheriger Absprache erlaubt. Hunde müssen jederzeit an der Leine geführt werden.
• Kinder dürfen sich nur unter Aufsicht eines Erwachsenen im Außenbereich aufhalten.
  

• Das Fällen oder Beschädigen von Bäumen oder Pflanzen im Müritz Air Park ist strengstens untersagt.
• Angeln am Kanal ist nur mit Angelschein erlaubt. Dieser kann in Rechlin erworben werden.
• Angeln am künstlich angelegten See ist nicht gestattet, insbesondere nicht mit Haken, da diese die Folie beschädigen und eine Gefahr für Kinder und Anwohner darstellen.
  

• Das Schwimmen im Kanal oder im künstlichen See erfolgt auf eigene Gefahr.
• Es handelt sich um nicht bewachte Gewässer. Es gibt keine Rettungsschwimmer vor Ort. Bitte achten Sie besonders auf Kinder und Nichtschwimmer.
  

• Der Müritz Air Park ist ein aktiver Flugplatz.
• Wenn sich beim Gehen oder Fahren ein Flugzeug nähert, weichen Sie vollständig von der Straße aus (auch auf den Rasen) und gewähren Sie dem Flugzeug uneingeschränkte Vorfahrt.
• Die Landebahn darf tagsüber nicht betreten werden. Sie ist nur nach 19:00 Uhr zugänglich, wenn keine Flugbewegungen mehr stattfinden.
  

• Das Abwassersystem ist empfindlich. Nur menschliche Ausscheidungen und Toilettenpapier dürfen heruntergespült werden.
• Verstopfungen oder Schäden werden
• dem Gast in Rechnung gestellt.
  

• Die buchende Person gilt als verantwortlicher Gast und haftet für das Verhalten aller Mitreisenden.
• Sie ist verpflichtet, alle Mitreisenden über die Regeln zu informieren und deren Einhaltung sicherzustellen.
• Schäden am Eigentum sind offen zu melden, zu dokumentieren und – wenn möglich – nach vorheriger Rücksprache zu beheben.
• Die verantwortliche Person bestätigt, dass sie über eine Haftpflichtversicherung verfügt, die eventuelle Schäden am oder im Mietobjekt abdeckt.

This Liability Waiver and Indemnification Agreement (“Agreement”) applies to all guests ("Guest(s)") staying at the Lake Escape property located within Müritz Air Park (the “Property”), regardless of whether the booking was made directly or via third-party platforms such as Airbnb.

By booking and confirming your stay, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this waiver in full. No additional signature is required.

Guests acknowledge that the Property is located within an active private airpark community (Müritz Air Park), in close proximity to:

• an operational airstrip
• a canal
• a man-made lake
  

By staying at the Property, you and your group fully accept all inherent risks associated with this unique location, including but not limited to:

• aircraft operations
• vehicle-aircraft encounters
• water hazards (drowning, slipping, injury from submerged objects)
• unsupervised swimming areas
• boating, fishing, or canal-side activities
• environmental conditions
  

These risks apply to all members of your group and any visitors you host during your stay.

By staying at the Property, the booking guest acknowledges they have read and understood the House & Community Rules and will ensure all participants in their group:

• are informed of these rules
• adhere to them throughout the stay
• behave respectfully toward neighbours and the environment
  

The rules are published on our website and printed inside the house.

Guests hereby waive, release, discharge, and agree not to hold the Hosts, property owners, residents of Müritz Air Park, or any affiliated parties liable for:

• any injury, illness, loss, damage, or death
• affecting themselves, their guests, or their belongings
• during or resulting from their stay at the Property
  

This includes, but is not limited to, injuries or damages caused by:

• aircraft movement
• interaction with water features
• wildlife or natural terrain
• accidents due to personal conduct, negligence, or disregard of posted rules
  

The booking guest accepts full responsibility for the conduct of all guests listed in their booking or otherwise present on the Property during their stay.

They agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Hosts, property owners, residents, and affiliates from any and all:

• claims
• legal actions
• damages
• or costs (including legal fees) arising from:
  • misuse of the Property
  • violations of rules
  • or any personal injury or damage caused to third parties
    

The booking guest is responsible for reporting any damage to the Property transparently and without delay. Damage should be:

• documented (e.g. with photos)
• communicated to the hosts
• repaired where feasible, after prior consultation
  

The booking guest also confirms that they hold valid personal liability insurance, which would cover any damage caused in or around the property during the stay.

This agreement does not require a signature.
By booking your stay, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms outlined above.

Diese Haftungsausschluss- und Freistellungserklärung („Vereinbarung“) gilt für alle Gäste („Gäste“), die im Rahmen einer Buchung – direkt oder über Plattformen wie Airbnb – auf dem Grundstück Lake Escape im Müritz Air Park („das Grundstück“) übernachten.

Mit der Buchung und Bestätigung Ihres Aufenthalts akzeptieren Sie diese Vereinbarung vollständig und verbindlich. Eine gesonderte Unterschrift ist nicht erforderlich.

Den Gästen ist bewusst, dass sich das Grundstück in einem aktiven privaten Flugplatzgelände (Müritz Air Park) befindet – in unmittelbarer Nähe zu:

• einer aktiven Start- und Landebahn
• einem Kanal
• einem künstlich angelegten See
  

Mit dem Aufenthalt auf dem Grundstück akzeptieren Sie und Ihre Gruppe sämtliche damit verbundenen Risiken, darunter:

• Flugzeugverkehr
• Begegnungen zwischen Fahrzeugen und Luftfahrzeugen
• Wassergefahren (z. B. Ertrinken, Ausrutschen, Verletzungen durch Gegenstände)
• unbeaufsichtigte Schwimmbereiche
• Bootsausflüge oder Aktivitäten am Kanal
• natürliche und wetterbedingte Gegebenheiten
  

Diese Risiken gelten für alle Mitreisenden sowie für von Ihnen eingeladene Besucher.

Mit Ihrer Buchung bestätigen Sie, dass Sie die Haus- und Gemeinschaftsregeln gelesen und verstanden haben, und dass Sie:

• alle Mitreisenden über die Regeln informieren
• auf die Einhaltung der Regeln während des Aufenthalts achten
• und ein respektvolles Miteinander im Airpark sicherstellen
  

Die Regeln sind auf unserer Website veröffentlicht und im Haus in gedruckter Form einsehbar.

Gäste verzichten hiermit auf jegliche Ansprüche gegenüber den Gastgebern, Eigentümern, Bewohnern oder sonstigen verbundenen Personen des Müritz Air Parks für:

• Verletzungen, Erkrankungen, Verluste, Schäden oder Todesfälle
• bei sich selbst, Mitreisenden oder deren Eigentum
  während oder im Zusammenhang mit dem Aufenthalt auf dem Grundstück
  

Dies umfasst insbesondere Schäden oder Verletzungen durch:

• Flugzeugbewegungen
• Gewässer und Wasseranlagen
• Naturereignisse oder Geländegegebenheiten
• Unfälle durch eigenes Verhalten oder Missachtung der Regeln
  

Die buchende Person trägt die volle Verantwortung für das Verhalten aller Mitreisenden und Besucher während des Aufenthalts.
Sie verpflichtet sich, die Gastgeber, Eigentümer, Bewohner und verbundenen Parteien von allen Ansprüchen, Schäden, Klagen oder Kosten (inkl. Anwaltskosten) freizustellen, die entstehen durch:

• unsachgemäßen Gebrauch des Grundstücks
• Regelverstöße 
• oder Verletzungen bzw. Schäden gegenüber Dritten
  

Die buchende Person ist verpflichtet, Schäden am oder im Haus unverzüglich und offen zu melden,

• diese zu dokumentieren (z. B. mit Fotos)
• die Gastgeber zu informieren
• und Reparaturen nach vorheriger Absprache selbst oder durch Dritte durchführen zu lassen
  

Die buchende Person bestätigt zudem, dass sie über eine gültige private Haftpflichtversicherung verfügt, die Schäden während des Aufenthalts abdeckt.

Diese Vereinbarung erfordert keine Unterschrift.
Mit Ihrer Buchung bestätigen Sie, dass Sie die obigen Bedingungen gelesen, verstanden und akzeptiert haben.
