Lake Escape sits in the heart of Müritz Air Park, a private fly-in community right next to Müritz National Park, one of Germany’s largest and most beautiful nature reserves. Set directly on the Mirower Canal and just steps from a peaceful lake, the house offers a rare mix of privacy, nature, and easy access, whether you arrive by car or by plane.
Aviation lovers will enjoy the quiet buzz of planes taxiing through the neighborhood, which has a laid-back, unique atmosphere. The house is easily reached by car with parking on-site and sits between Berlin and Hamburg, both around two hours away. Nearby towns like Mirow and Rechlin offer bakeries, shops, and access to the lake system for boating and exploring.
Your private escape in nature
The house is designed for comfort, connection, and good times. Cook together in the open kitchen with two ovens and two dishwashers, or unwind in the living room with games, movies, or ping pong.
There are three bedrooms with private bathrooms, of which two even have fully equipped workstations. A cozy bunk-bed nook comfortably sleeps two kids or two extra adults. Enjoy the fire pit, BBQ, and waterfront lounge area outside, perfect for coffee at sunrise or a sundowner by the canal.
Adventures start at your doorstep.
Canoe straight from the garden into the canal, set off paddleboarding at sunrise, or spend the day boating, sailing, or even waterskiing on the surrounding lakes. Fishing is possible right by the house; don’t forget to pick up a permit.
Do you prefer to explore on land? Müritz National Park offers endless hiking and biking trails through ancient forests, meadows, and lakeside paths, perfect for spotting deer, cranes, or sea eagles in the wild.
Closer to home, you’ll find a fire pit for late-night stories, a big lawn for outdoor games, and plenty of space to unwind while the kids play. Or settle into the lounge by the water with a good book and nothing on your agenda.
